John O'Sullivan

Managing Director

John heads up Nexala having previously served in a number of roles within the Company including as CFO with responsibility for financial and legal issues. Prior to joining Nexala, John served in senior management and financial positions for a number of leading technology and software companies with operations in Ireland, the UK, mainland Europe and the Middle East.

John has headed up software development teams in a wide variety of industries and domains including banking, procurement, asset management and EPR systems and been responsible for ISO Certification in a number of companies.

In the past John has worked with KPMG, Misys and Digital Equipment Corporation (now part of HP), where he was a senior member of the Legal Tax and Treasury department.

John graduated from University College Cork with Bachelors of Commerce Degree and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA).

Paul Lowry

Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Paul, a co-founder of Nexala, is responsible for  business development and marketing. Paul’s track-record in business and technical development includes instrumental roles in developing market share, market positioning and sales growth for a number of rapidly internationalising businesses. In IONA Technologies, Paul was responsible for generating new sales and building the company’s presence in the UK and US markets. Paul also played a key role in Norkom Technologies’ rapid and global go-to-market initiatives, having been responsible for the company’s the direct and indirect sales activities in the UK and initiating Norkom’s US sales operations.

Paul has a BSc Computer Science Degree from Trinity College Dublin.

Daragh Lowry

Sales Director

Daragh is responsible for international sales and business development. Daragh’s track record spans over 20 years and included instrumental roles in the transportation industry. Prior to Trimble, Daragh worked with Siemens AG in Germany for many 14 years. In Siemens, Daragh was head of the platform development of the Siemens 2nd Generation train (Desiro City) for the UK market and in parallel was the rolling stock bid director for the multi billion Euro Thameslink project based on the Desiro City which was awarded to Siemens in 2013. Prior to Siemens Daragh was self-employed, led a consultancy company and provided project management, commissioning and engineering services to the transportation industry in the UK, Spain and Germany.

Daragh has a BSc Computer Engineering Degree from University of Limerick.

Shane Lillis

Quality, Training and Process Director

Shane is responsible for Nexala's Internal Processes & Quality functions. Shane is a senior IT and engineering professional with over 15 years' experience in business process management, asset management and quality control within the high-tech manufacturing and transport sectors. Shane has been involved in managing a number of large-scale projects in the areas of software implementation and engineering change management. Previously, Shane was a senior implementation manager with Norkom Technologies, a leading global risk management solutions provider, working on a number of large international projects.

Shane holds a Master's Degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) from the National University of Ireland (NUI), Galway, and a BE Degree in Industrial Engineering and Information Systems from NUI Galway.

Dec. 6, 2018—Trimble introduced today the Trimble® D2M rolling stock allocation and management system that provides operators the ability to better control rolling stock resources to maximize utilization and minimize rail service disruption.
