Workshop & Depot Management

The Workshop is the core of the maintenance operation. Nexala Equinox coordinates and manages all aspects of the maintenance process introducing control, efficiency, compliance and traceability within the workshop. The Workshop module supports both planned and unplanned maintenance regimes, from service request, work order generation to work scheduling. Planned maintenance is combined with unplanned work and tasks arising from maintenance campaigns to produce the relevant work schedules. Note that planned work can be forecasted forward as far as required.

Key Features:

  • Maintenance Schedules
Maintenance schedules can be set-up based on time factors, certification requirements and asset usage. The schedules can be optimised to include non planned events, materials/spares and appropriate skilled resource availability
  • Campaigns, Modifications & Special Checks
Upgrades or modifications to an asset or fleet of assets can also be scheduled. These campaigns can be used as inputs to the maintenance planning process or can be added to a particular maintenance event on the jobcard if appropriate.
  • Work & Defect Reports
Defects can be reported and recorded. These defects and work items may be electronically captured from an onboard vehicle information system by Nexala Spectrum or through a manually recorded work item. Work items can be prioritised with information such as asset status, asset location, asset/service impact and cause or reason codes. The system ensures that no work due on an asset is neglected and ensures that safety critical work is completed before the jobcard can be closed.
  • Jobcards
Jobcards are used to manage the allocation of work, exam tasks, campaigns and all work to be carried out on the vehicle. It captures information such as labour costs and timings, material usage and tools required for a particular maintenance program.

Benefits:

  • Electronic signoff of jobs
  • Optimised Resource schedules
  • Full job costing provided
  • Integrated with condition monitoring system to reduce maintenance time & costs
  • Improved fleet availability through optimised maintenance scheduling
