Nexala and Lloyds Register form a strategic partnership for the integration of Nexala’s Insights™ performance analysis and decision support system with Lloyds’ Gotcha® wayside monitoring system for train operators, infrastructure managers and rolling stock maintenance companies.

Gotcha ® is a wayside train monitoring system which measures and examines key train components as trains pass along the track across Gotcha sensors. Gotcha captures the data from the vehicle and automatically transmits them to a central server where they are instantly analysed, and potential problems are identified. The system enables the users to see trends and deterioration and enables users to take early action to prevent further deterioration of components.

The Gotcha system is tightly integrated with Nexala’s performance analysis and intelligent decision support system, Insights. Insights provides users with the ability to review, analyse and take action on as required. Insights provides comprehensive, real time reporting and intelligent decision support to Gotcha users.

Gotcha is currently used by different infrastructure managers, train operating companies and rolling stock maintenance in a number of countries including the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Poland, Switzerland and Sweden.
