Senior Java Engineer

Location: Dublin, Ireland

We are looking for experienced and technically multi-skilled engineers, whose primary area of expertise is Java development. You will have the ability and willingness to take ownership of product design and progress it through development, test and delivery. We are looking for a highly motivated team player, who prefers to work in a dynamic environment on leading edge technology.

You will be working as an integral part of the product development team on all technical aspects of Nexala's suite of applications and working with an integrated team of business analysts, product managers and QA.

Person Profile

You will have the ability to work in a dynamic R&D environment with senior solutions architects on our industry leading product set
You will have a motivated and proactive attitude to take ownership and initiative in all work assignments
You will have excellent analysis and problem solving skills
You will have excellent communication skills, capable of dealing with both junior and senior colleagues
You will have strong design, development & testing skills

Key Requirements

We are looking for a person with solid experience using Java/J2EE technologies, including the following:

Strong Java skills, with 2+ years experience with enterprise Java in a commercial environment.
Technical experience should include an in-depth knowledge of: JSP, JSF, SEAM, Hibernate, EJB3, AJAX, Eclipse, ANT, JBOSS.
Experience of the following an advantage: SQL Server 2005/2008, Oracle, Agile Development Methodologies, CSS, Javascript
You should have experience of the full product development lifecycle.

Education

Degree level qualification in a computer or computer related discipline
