Senior C++ Developer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
We are looking for technically multi-skilled individual, whose primary area of expertise is C++ and Windows development. Must have ability and willingness to take ownership of a component design and progress it through to development and test and delivery. Applicants must have proven ability to perform under pressure, be a team player and have a mature disciplined attitude with good communication skills.
Working as an integral part of the product development team on all technical aspects of application development and delivery of major new product components. Proactively participate on technical and customer projects. Working directly with the technical lead and product manager to deliver products to given specification. Provide technical input to design specifications and UI specifications.
Key Requirements
- At least 3 years commercial experience developing enterprise-class software in C++ and MFC
- Experience with Visual Studio 6.0 and 2005
- Experience with client/server development using DCOM
- Experience with database development including T-SQL, stored procedures, MS SQL Server 2000
- Knowledge of user interface design requirements and GUI design
- Exposure to the full development lifecycle, including Installation Software, Testability, Test Automation. Experience with InstallShield an advantage
- An ability to communicate with non-technical people and analyse user requirements
Education
- Degree level qualification in a computer or computer related discipline.
